I found this cute pattern on Michaels free pattern website. I have had some scraps of yarn that coordinate with my bedroom comforter so he is destined as a decorator pillow on my bed.
I am just now whip stitching the squares together. I made the patches last night while watching the Olympics
Here is a sneak peak.

The Merging of Two Passions
My husband has always loved clocks. Big clocks, little clocks, Grandfather clocks. He has built them, repaired a poor cuckoo clock someone threw away (we had that silly thing for years till it just stopped working!), and designed them to build and give away as gifts. He is a very gifted woodworker.
I of course love to crochet, so when I found a crochet pattern for a real working clock, I just had to make one! I was so excited to bring the love of our two passions together to display in our home!! His love clocks and mine of crochet!!! A marriage made in Heaven!!

Amigurumi Crochet Hook!
I just could not resist making this little guy when I saw him on Pinterest. So quick and so cute!
I asked my husband, "Do you know what this is?" He said "Yes, it is a Knitting Needle." Which is my husbands way of saying, "Yes, it is a crochet hook."
Twenty years of marriage and he still thinks I knit. Geez...good thing I like having him around!
The pattern is free and can be found here.
Enjoy!

Ornament Ring Series
I made these for my co-workers at Christmas. Each is made with a 2 inch cabone plastic ring. I glued a pin backing to each one so they could be worn on a coat or a sweater. Everyone loved them and I quite a few of the reindeer! He was a big hit!!
1950's Inspired Dresser Doll
I made this for my Mother for Valentines Day, she loved it. She now sits on her dresser!
I really surprised myself by how pretty this turned out. The pattern comes from a Needle Craft Shop Leaflet.
Took me longer to find the pattern than it did to make the doll. I got several dolls off of Ebay a few months ago and have been looking to dress them all.
I worked on her in the evening a few hours at a time.

Long Time No See!!
Hello Blogger Friends,
Please accept my sincerest apologies for my absence. Even though the Fall and Winter months are my most favorite, they are also my most difficult. I won't go into details as that is not what this blog is about. But I wanted to let you know I was back!
I have missed you all, and have a few new things just off the hook. I will post them soon!
